Club Drugs and their Harmful Effects

Club Drugs are one of the major problems prevailing in the present society. Many people get affected by them and many are still getting affected by them. Busy life styles, night clubs, partying are the main things which force the teenagers to get used to these drugs. These club drugs are mostly available and most commonly used in clubs, bars, and night parties.
Some drugs are even famous everywhere like GHB, Rohypnol, Ketamine, Ecstasy and Methamphetamine. Even though consuming these drugs is illegal, nobody is bothering about it. The harmful effects caused by them are not simple and easy to recover from. Here are few things about the effects of different club drugs on our health.

The main organ, of our body which gets affected the most by these drugs is the central nervous system. Major parts of the brain get affected by abusing these drugs. The most popular drug, GHB acts on at least two sites of the brain. If high doses of GHB are consumed it results in sleep coma and even death. Rophynol, acts on the brain receptors. It produces some anterograde amnesia, in which drug abusers are unable to remember events happened while they are abusing. Ketamin acts as an anesthetic, which distorts the perception of sight and sound. In high doses, this drug causes hallucinations or dream like states. Ecstasy is a stimulant which increases heart rate and blood pressure.

The effects of drugs on the body and health depends upon the quantity of intake, the way they are taking them along with some other drugs, alcohol or tobacco. The impacts vary from one case to other. But the main problem exists is the addiction. Once the person gets used to these drugs it is very tough for them to get away from them.

So, it is always better to get away from these dreadful things which may give a temporary excitement but may change your health permanently.
