Quality Interviews For Hiring The Right Candidate

Hiring the candidate is difficult task. By conducting quality interviews, interviewer can easily hire a right candidate. For conducting quality interview, the interviewer should follow some steps.

  • The interviewer need to do some home work before going for the interview, this means the interviewer should study the information about the resume, cover letter, and any other material that was submitted to the organization by the candidate. It will save the time whiles interviewing the candidate. If the interviewer is familiar with that information, he or she can easily frame the questions based on candidate education, experience, and skills.
  • The interviewer should not take the decision based on first impression. Interviewer needs to study the behavior of the candidates by asking behavioral questions. Their resumes may be filled with different skills such as “I am a team player”, “multitasking”, “Organized”; anyone can include this on resume. By asking behavioral questions, the interviewer can identify the facts.

After completion of the face-to-face interview, the important task is evaluating the answers. The purpose of asking questions is not to get the correct answers.

The purpose is only to assess the candidate’s reaction towards the tricky questions.

Importance Of Barcoding In Car Rental Agencies

Car rental agencies use many techniques to provide rental car security at the airport terminals. Barcoding systems are one among them. Whenever a vehicle leaves from the terminal, a guard scans ID barcode on each car with a barcode scanner. The location of car at the terminal, time and date is noted at the time of scanning.

The agencies have drivers who drive the cars from one terminal to other terminal to deliver inventory with demand. Each driver is provided with an ID badge with a barcode. When the driver is running a car from the terminal, the ID badge on the car and the driver's ID badge is scanned. Now the destination is interpreted into the scanner. Every day the scanners are programmed into a computer, supplying the agency with complete information of all car movements, driver ID, and data. This operation records and reports on nearly 100,000 transactions per month.

Air conditioners are becoming the necessity rather than luxury these days. As the technology is developing day by day, air conditioners are becoming cheaper and cheaper. Check their price twenty years back and compare with today’s price. I am sure there will be a lot of difference than what you have imagined.

Now a days every above middle class family and a reasonably big office is using air conditioners. If you are not among them and want to know some basic differences between the common types of air conditioners, read this to get some idea.

Plan well before you air-condition your home or office. Know about the electricity consumption and other maintenance costs involved. Check whether window type or split type air conditioning system is better for you.

The main difference between a window and a split type air-conditioner is the initial cost of equipment and installation. For a given capacity of the systems, the running cost is almost the same for both the types. Though a split type AC may consume a small amount of extra power as it has an extra motor. Also the efficiency of the both types is same.

The level of noise in a window air conditioner will be noticeable as it is fitted on the wall. Whereas the split AC will be silent as the noisy compressor is placed outdoors.
