What is the Best Time and Best Way to Take Vitamins?

Vitamins are essential nutrient substances that are required for our body in very smaller amounts for normal growth, metabolism, functioning, developing and physical well-being otherwise there may be a chance of diseases. A, B, C, D, E and K are the vitamins which are needed daily for our body and these can be obtained from many food sources. Whereas Vitamin D is obtained from sun.


Many different types and combinations of vitamins are there. These vitamins can be taken after having or between meals. Since these vitamins are nothing but nutritional substances which are easily digested and absorbed by the body. But doctors suggest to take vitamins along with meals otherwise stomach upset causes.

B-complex vitamin supplements are suitable if you take in the morning along with the breakfast for maintaining energy levels throughout the day.

Some vitamins are not taken along with calcium which causes stomach upset so better to take vitamins separately with calcium.

Taking vitamins anytime in the day is correct but it depends on the function of that vitamin and how it works.
