Queen Elizabeth II Visited Google

In the history of internet especially Google, Britain Queen Elizabeth II was the first Monarch to send an e-mail. She used Google in October and Google was celebrating it as victory by creating special version of its home page, which featured a silhouette of her head instead of second “G” and a regal crown a the top of “E” in their logo.

Queen visited the head quarters of Google and uploaded clip of 1969 reception at Buckingham Palace for British Olympians.

During her visit with her husband and prince, went through the demonstration of the company’s technology and met the school students who won a competition to design their own Google “doodles.” They also met users of Google-owned You Tube video website including a Peter Oakley, as 81 year old known as “Geriatric 1927.”

After their visit to Google head quarters, the queen and prince planned to host a reception for nearly 600 British Olympians at the palace, the monarch’s London home.
